Robin Piper, the Prosecutor of Butler County, brings into office a wealth of legal experience and knowledge.Mr. Piper graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1981.

Presentation to discuss the correlation between domestic violence, animal abuse and child abuse

(HAMILTON, OH) In conjunction with National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Butler County Prosecutor, Robin Piper announces a presentation by Barbara W. Boat, PhD., entitled “The Toxic Triad,” discussing the correlation between domestic violence, animal abuse and child abuse.

Barbara Boat, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and Director of the Program on Childhood Trauma and Maltreatment. She is also Executive Director of The Childhood Trust of Children’s Hospital Medical Center. In addition to providing evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents and adults, supervising trainees, and presenting at national and international conferences, she is currently looking examining relationships between violence to children, violence to animals and domestic violence.

Anyone who feels they may benefit from this free, informative 2-hour presentation is encouraged to attend. The presentation will be in the main conference room on the first floor of the Government Services Building on Wednesday, October 24th at 2:00 pm at 315 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio.
