Michelle Gabbard, wife of a Hamilton firefighter who nearly died in a training accident last year, received a 180-day jail sentence for the theft of over $30,000 from Chaco Credit Union. She will also be placed on probation for 5 years and must perform 200 hours of community service.
Gabbard, a former loan officer at Chaco's downtown Hamilton location, was arrested on July 16th and charged with theft, a fourth-degree felony. Over a 2 year period, Gabbard embezzled more than $30,000 from Chaco, but has made full restitution and took full responsibility for her actions. |
