ASHCRAFT SENTENCED TO 129-189 YEARS FOR RAPES OF CHILDREN

(HAMILTON, OH) Forty-one year old Kenneth Ashcraft of New Miami, Ohio was sentenced to 129-189 years in prison today. Ashcraft was found guilty by a jury in October of 11 counts of Rape, 3 counts of Corruption of a Minor, 1 count of Felonious Sexual Penetration, and 1 count of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor for molesting five children over twenty years. By virtue of his convictions, Ashcraft is a Tier III offender requiring registration with the Sheriff every ninety days for the rest of his life. Prosecutor Piper stated that he was pleased with the sentence saying that it is good this predator will be taken off the streets. Although it sounds harsh, the only way we can protect innocent victims is by locking up people like Ashcraft for the rest of their life.
